eForest Metrics came into being in 2018 as Universal Forest Systems, launching with its flagship SaaS software FIRS (Forest Inventory Reporting System).

FIRS and now GroTrak have seen an ever increasing uptake by Australian (and overseas) forest management companies, spanning major State agencies through to freelancers undertaking consulting projects.

GroTrak was released in 2023 in response to growing calls for a similar product suitable for repeat measure inventory rather than temporary forest inventory.

eForest Metrics is committed to  improving the knowledge of forest resource assets, and as a consequence the goals of sustainable renewable resource use.
