eForest Metrics began in 2018 as Universal Forest Systems, launching with its flagship SaaS software FIRS (Forest Inventory Reporting System).

FIRS and now GroTrak have experienced steady uptake by Australian (and overseas) forest management companies, spanning major State agencies through to freelancers engaged in consulting projects.

GroTrak was released in 2023 in response to growing calls for a similar product suitable for repeat measure inventory, rather than temporary forest inventory.

eForest Metrics is committed to  improving the knowledge of forest resource assets, as an essential corner stone of sustainable resource use.
